Baking up some Birthday Wishes...

New Changito clear and cling rubber stamps are in with lots of new designs! This is the clear set called Changito Baker.
Inside verse reads: Baked up a batch of Birthday Wishes for you!
The glittery background paper is from the Nana's Kitchen mat stack, a very cute pack of papers.

If you look closely at the apron, you can see how I stamped it on gingham paper and trimmed around it to look like the apron is actually checkered. The cake was cut out and popped up with some foam dots.

Play Day

I have been really busy today getting things ready for the crop on Saturday. I decided to take a short break from the hustle & bustle and make a card with some new stamps from Daisy Bucket Designs.

I love anything with little monsters on it. I thought this would make a perfect card for one of my nephew's birthdays. The photo below is the inside of the card, the 2 stamps come together in a pack. I used the Nestabilities set called Labels 2 for the die cut/embossed shape.

New cling rubber stamps are in!

New Changito images and sayings have started to arrive! Cling rubber is the best of both worlds... The same stamping feel of crisp cushioned rubber images with the easy storage of clear stamps. These cling stamps mount to clear blocks just like clear acrylic stamps do.

If you look closely, you can see his fuzzy bunny slippers that I used white flocking on.

Monkey Business Trifold class

In this class we will be making a 6x6 trifold scrapbook album.
I call it a trifold because it folds and unfolds into 3rds. Above is how it looks when it is closed.

We will be using the Monkey Business 2 line from Reminisce. There are lots of fold outs and embellishments in the book.

There are 6 pockets that hold small pages for more photos that tuck inside.

Here is another fold out page that hides pictures.

Cuttlebug Butterflies

I just ordered in this new butterfly set from Cuttlebug. Well, it isn't new... just new to the store. It cuts out the butterfly and then has 4 embossing templates to add texture to the butterfly.

I cut out the circle and the scallop with Nestabilities and embossed the background with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder.
Here is the sketch challenge I found online that I used to make the card with. Try one!

Lucky Me!

I just wanted to wish all my blog readers a Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Supplies Used: Cuttlebug folder Swiss Dots, Stampendous stamp "Lucky Changito", Doodlebug green glitter, Copic markers- Sand, Apple Green, and Cool Gray, 2" scallop punch, 1 3/4" circle punch.

In the Woods #2

This card is somewhat similar to one I posted last month. It uses another stamp from the "In the Woods" line from Stampendous. I inked the stamp with markers and layered it on a rectangle I cut out from the long rectangle Nestabilities set. I also added a few mossy colored dew drops for some dimension.

Here is the inside of the card. I am getting better about decorating the inside too...

Princess Kitty

I made this very simple pink and black kitty card using my Nestabilities and NOT cutting the paper out before embossing.
The Cuttlebug sandwich of plates from the bottom up would be:
A plate
B plate
Nestabilities template
paper
rubber mat
B plate

I put some silver stickles on the collar to give the kitty some bling.

Supplies used: Nestabilities Large Labels set, Sprinkles kitty from Cats Pajamas stamps, silver brads.
