Watch the blog and FaceBook for new SRM cardmaking stickers and classes! Very cute things are coming in for spring so stay tuned.
Sandcastles
Some of the brand new Spellbinders Nestabilities shapes are in and I love the new large scallops!
They come in circle, oval, and square large scallops. There are also new Labels 10, 11, and 12 too.

I need a little more practice, but I like the new Ultra Fine Flower Soft. It adds a nice touch to make things look more realistic. I added a bit of the "Sand" color to the bottom of this sandcastle stamp.
I stamped Warmest Wishes to the inside... can you tell I'm hoping for some warmer weather?
Birthday Hoot!
In this workshop we will be making a birthday book with a really cute owl paper line. You can choose from either a girly theme or boyish one.
The book is 5x5 in size and is a combination of an accordian book and a squash book style.
The book will hold about 12 photos. This is what it looks like when you first open it.
It continues to unfold to reveal more pages. The photos above show both the boy and girl book.
Here is where the squash book comes into play... each side opens up to reveal four more square pages!
Plenty of room for more photos and journaling.
The middle section has an upper and lower flap with double sided pages. My pictures really dont show the book as well as it looks in person. There is a lot to see in this mini album. Below is a picture of the right side of the book unfolded.
Cost: $20, must be prepaid to hold your reservation.

Bunnies & Chicks
More and more Easter paper and goodies have been coming in. I made this page today with the "Happy Easter" line from Reminisce. I wasnt sure if I liked it at first because it had a vintage feel to it and I am more of a cutsie scrapbooker. The more I looked at it, this line really started to grow on me.
Kaleidecolor pads & brayers
This brayer technique is one that I havent done in a really long time but thought would work great with this bird stamp.
First you need a Kaleidecolor ink pad. These pads are like 5 small individual colors that stay seperate while in storage, but slide the lever and they snap together when ready to be used. They come in a number of color combos!
Roll your brayer over the pad to ink it up.
The cardstock you use MUST be glossy cardstock! This is very important... the technique doesnt work if you use a regular piece of paper. Roll the brayer back and forth over your paper to get an even coat of ink. You may even need to re-ink your brayer and do it again. You will get a very pretty rainbow effect. I like to stamp an image in black, usually a solid image works best.

Comfy chair...
Sometimes you just need a comfy chair!
I had some new Memory Box stamps in recently and just loved this chair because it could be used for many different occasions.
I used the masking technique to get the print on the chair cushions and tied the white satin ribbon as an accent.
To mask you need to stamp your image on the paper. Then cut very closely on the black line, cutting off the legs and coffee cup. Just glue down on to your image stamped on white paper, it should look almost unnoticable that you stamped it on an extra piece of paper.
